Thom Child & Family Services located in Worcester, MA is seeking a as needed basis Fee for Service Portuguese Interpreter to join their team during the program hours of Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

As an Early Intervention Portuguese Interpreter, you will be responsible for assisting Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation services.

Thom Child & Family Services offers:

Position Responsibilities:

Provide interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during community-based visits, center-based visits, group meetings and remote when necessary.
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision.
Maintain compliance with all Thom Child & Family Services policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirements.
Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Portuguese/English.
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bilingual in Portuguese/English required.
Ability to interpret written materials in the pursuit of service delivery (via text or email).
Good computer skills.
Ability to meet the required competency level in Microsoft Office Software.
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
