Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: COEUR D'ALENE CASINO RESORT & HOTEL - WORLEY, ID 83876Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob Shift: GraveyardJob Category: Installation - Maint - RepairSUMMARY: Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains video gaming machines as well as components, peripherals, and the player tracking system used in the machines.  The Bench Technician I installs, removes, or moves machines on the casino floor using a hand truck as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines. Repair and modify components, electrical systems, and peripherals of the gaming machines. Under supervision configure video gaming machines to meet manufacturers and regulatory agency specifications. Remove, move, install, and/or upgrade slot machines. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures as they pertain to this position. Assist customers with questions or game instructions as requested. Monitor and track the video gaming machine malfunctions, cause, and parts involved. Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results as required. Other projects and duties as assigned.  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene tribal gaming license. Previous customer service experience required.  Six months previous experience working in a casino environment preferred. Previous experience using a voltmeter and troubleshooting wires as related to video gaming machines preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of video gaming machines including mechanical functions, configurations, and play aspects of gaming machines preferred. Must be able to read schematics and perform software control of peripherals. Knowledge of basic manual hand tools, testing equipment, and repair methods required. Must be able to properly and effectively use a two-way radio. Knowledge of electronic systems and electro-mechanical systems required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to follow directions precisely. Must have knowledge of the general Windows environment, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong skills utilizing troubleshooting methods and techniques is required. Must work well in a team environment.  Excellent organizational skills required.  Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
