True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Assistant General Manager to join our team at our Springhill Suites/TownePlace Suites in Wrentham, MA. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Acts as the hotels public relations director and promotes the property within the hotel industry, local community, and trade associations.
  • Assists in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process.
  • Selects or assist in the selection of hotel staff, completes all new hire paper works & provides training to staff
  • Review employee’s performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Ensures the objectives and goals of hotel and property owners work together to achieve brand positioning and success.
  • Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results.
  • Assist GM in key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment.
  • Performs inspections and audits
  • Provides effective leadership to hotel team members.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hospitality degree or experience in hospitality management. 
  • Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring. 
  • Strong background in the Food and Beverage Industry.
