True North Hotel Group, an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our team at TownePlace Suites in, Wrentham, MA. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all rehabilitation, expansion, and special projects
  • Maintain organized and efficient administrative and filing systems. 
  • Assign, verify and participate in the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in all areas 
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff and all independent contractors 
  • Maintain adequate staffing and schedules for hotel maintenance and upkeep, event setup
  • Maintain appropriate supply of material and equipment
  • Maintain effective energy management and preventative maintenance programs, and when necessary, conduct special training for other departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years working experience in facility maintenance
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry
  • Active driver’s license
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, components and devices, HVAC systems, boilers, mechanical systems and the maintenance and repair of all
  • Excellent knowledge of public construction and building systems and codes; all related permits, licenses and existing codes pertaining to public building and fire safety
