Overview

Astrion, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager, Senior located at Robins Air Force Base, GA. 

 

The Program Manager, Senior will provide program support to the F-15 Division.  The F-15 Division is responsible for management and professional services, engineering and technical services, and studies, analyses and evaluations to accomplish the unit’s mission to design, develop, integrate, test, produce, deploy, modernize, sustain and support U.S. and FMS F-15 fighter aircraft weapon systems and subsystems.

 

LOCATION:  Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA

JOB STATUS:  Full-Time

TRAVEL:  Occasional CONUS travel may be required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)

SECURITY CLEARANCE: DoD Secret Clearance Required

EDUCATION:

  • MA/MS degree and 12 years of related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD; or
  • BA/BS degree and 15 years of related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD; or
  • 20 years of related experience with proper certifications (if applicable), 8 of which must be in the DoD

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Senior

Must have the advanced knowledge and experience to be considered an expert in the field.  Must possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support full life-cycle acquisition program management for F-15 requirements, systems, subsystems, equipment, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Develop, coordinate, review, and finalize acquisition and milestone documentation, including MOAs/MOUs, SOOs, PWSs, SOWs, RFPs, capability documents, AoAs, and DoDI 5000.02 products.
  • Coordinate inputs from financial, management, procurement, engineering, logistics, program offices, and Government stakeholders to support program milestones and decisions.
  • Provide advisory support for proposal evaluations, source selections, technical evaluations, contract strategies, WBS development, risk assessments, and post-award program management.
  • Plan and support acquisition reviews and events, including SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, configuration audits, production readiness reviews, integrated program reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Analyze program progress, strategy, cost, schedule, performance, life-cycle support, EVM, business cases, trade studies, and acquisition/logistics requirements; communicate recommendations to leadership.
  • Support requirements development and staffing through JCIDS, ETMS2 taskers, CONOPS/CDD-to-RFP translation, market surveys, life-cycle cost estimates, and using-command requirements processes.
  • Manage program support activities such as action-item tracking, AF Form 1067 modification proposals, self-assessment/inspection checklists, meeting minutes, corrective actions, and OFP development risk, cost, schedule, and performance.
