Position Summary:

The Associate Software Engineer develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs software or customizes software in order to optimize operational efficiency.

What you will do:

Develops programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards and analyzes, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal performance.
Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and optimal performance.
Constructs various software components and validates completeness and quality.
Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures.
Performs software system maintenance and support.
Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.

When you will work:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Wyoming, MI with 1 day remote

What you’ll bring to the table:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
One to three years previous software development experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Proficient in one or more program languages, operating systems and databases.
