Fairview is looking for a Cook at our Fairview Lakes Location in Wyoming, MN! This is a part time position offering 8 hours over a 2-week pay period and is not benefit eligible!

Prepares and serves hot and cold foods for all customers using standardized recipes and proper food handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures, and standards
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
• Prepares food per standardized recipes, production sheets and department service times
• Ensures food is prepared per standardized recipes and production sheets to maintain quality standards
• Practices accurate infection control methods, including proper hand washing, personal hygiene, food handling and sanitation techniques
• Checks food for accurate temperature, flavor, and appearance to ensure customer satisfaction
• May assist with ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies

Required Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Culinary Training
• A.A./A.S. or
• 1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience
• Certified or willing to become certified for food safety
