Medical Assistant

Orandi Allergy and Asthma Center is a privately owned medical practice that has been serving West Michigan and beyond for over 7 years. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hands-on person to join our small, yet very busy team.

Title:  Medical Assistant

Location:  2221 Health Drive, Suite 1400, Wyoming, Michigan 49519

Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday:  6:45am - 5:00pm
Unpaid Lunch:  12:00pm - 1:00pm
Tuesday:  8:45am - 6:30pm
Unpaid Lunch:  2:00pm - 3:00pm

Pay:  $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer injections
• Room patients
• Allergy testing
• Perform pulmonary function tests
• Process refills
• Respond to patient questions
• Process incoming fax messages
• Send appointment reminder text
• Send prescriptions
• Scan documentation into patient chart
• Prior authorizations

• Create encounters in EMR system, EPIC
• Contact referrals
• Other duties as needed
