The Associate Engagement Coordinator is dedicated to driving the employment life cycle for the store they are assigned. They will primarily be responsible for the creation and execution of internal employee engagement initiatives to drive a people first culture. This position plays a vital role supporting the hiring process, orientation, training, safety, compliance, and drive excellent store communications. Responsibilities include managing the full cycle recruiting process in Workday, posting jobs, conducting interviews, coordinating final interviews with store leadership, completing job offer and onboarding processing through Workday, setting up and conducting orientation for the store as needed, partnering with local HR Business partner to post or add hiring events or resources, managing the first 90 days of employment for new hires to validate training and drive engagement, owning store engagement programs including recognition conducted daily, weekly, and periodically, compliance ownership at store level including timely terminations, I-9 processing, work permits compliance, supporting scheduling and Kronos reporting, managing off-stage locations in store for associate experience, and possibly serving as Person-In-Charge for weekly schedules based on volume and need. Additional responsibilities may be assigned. Requirements include a High School Diploma (required), college degree or coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources or related area preferred, one-year HR administrative support experience or HR college coursework required, strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, strong data entry, organization, prioritization and multitasking skills, ability to handle confidential information, knowledge of HR principles preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior HRIS/HRMS experience preferred, ability to manage in a fast-paced environment, commitment to exceptional service and core values. Physical requirements include ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods, bending, stooping, twisting, exposure to retail store environment and outside weather conditions, and variable travel requirements.
