Job Summary

Reading Hospital has an excellent opportunity for an energetic and talented physician to join our outpatient UHMS Certified Wound Care Center in Wyomissing, PA as Medical Director. This is your chance to join a well-established practice and guide future growth! The Medical Director will partner with our Practice Administrator, and 2 other wound care specialist Providers (1 Physician, 1 APP), along with 3 seasoned Wound Care Certified Nurses and Hyperbaric Safety Director. You will also have the opportunity to teach Residents and Medical Students when they do clinical rotations through the site.

Our patient volume continues to grow, since opening in July 2007. Typical wound care and HBO cases treated are: cancer, diabetic, osteomyelitis and pressure ulcers.  In addition to the nursing staff, we have a Hyperbaric Safety Director. The site has 2 fully equipped Sechrist Monoplace chambers with 6 leads transcutaneous oximetry.

The ideal candidate will have experience with wound care and hyperbaric medicine. BC/BE in Undersea Hyperbaric Medicine and/or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) is a requirement within 6-10 months of hire.
