Unarmed Security Officer – Part-Time Afterschool Position

School Security | West Lawn, PA | $20.00 per Hour

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a permanent, part-time afterschool position at a school campus in West Lawn, PA.

This position offers a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule that is perfect for someone seeking supplemental income, steady afternoon hours, and a professional work environment. You’ll help maintain a safe and welcoming campus during afterschool programs, extracurricular activities, and dismissal-related operations.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
3:45 PM–7:00 PM

No weekends
No late nights
No rotating schedule
Permanent school assignment
Consistent weekday hours
Team-oriented work environment
Additional hours may be available at school events

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Opportunities for additional hours may be available during sporting events, extracurricular activities, and special events.

Responsibilities

Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the campus
Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor access during afterschool activities
Conduct routine patrols of the school building and surrounding grounds
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations
Complete clear, accurate, and timely incident reports
Work professionally with administrators, staff, students, visitors, and supervisors
Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment
Follow all site procedures and emergency-response protocols
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents when necessary

Qualifications

Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining reliable attendance
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in a school environment
Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols throughout the shift
Must successfully complete all required background checks and school clearances
Clearance-process guidance will be provided; applicants are responsible for associated fees
Previous security, customer service, military, law enforcement, corrections, education, or public-safety experience is preferred but not required
No security experience is required—we will train the right candidate
