Yakima MultiCare is looking for a full-time SLP who is interested in furthering their experience in the medical field, working with adults with speech-language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. Our SLPs split their time between our 238-bed acute-care, not-for-profit hospital and adult outpatient clinic.
 

FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Weekdays & Occasional Weekends

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations
• You will perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans
• You will perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscpic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic of swallowing
• You will confer with physician and other health care professionals

Requirements

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
