POSITION SUMMARY
Â
This position is a key individual contributor with expertise in selected business or healthcare processes and participates in formulating scope and requirements relative to the objectives of the Innovation Center of Excellence (ICOE). Acts independently to provide knowledge, guidance, research, and fact-finding expertise to define, design and modify specifications and processes of complex Innovation initiatives. The incumbent participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, planning sessions, and implementation activities with cross-functional teams as needed. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with changing needs and deadlines.
Excellent human relations skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels staff and outside professionals.
Strong abilities in financial analysis, data interpretation, computer software applications, Visio, MS Office suite and spreadsheet programs.
Ability to think strategically; and ability to collaborate within a cross functional environment.
Must have a proven track record of successfully leading change with positive outcomes. Must have proven experience delivering operational, technical, and business solutions and experience with process improvement and managing the organizational impact. Must also possess strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external contacts and stakeholders.Â
Adaptability and flexibility are critical success factors as the market and business strategy changes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in business or healthcare-related discipline.
Six (6) years’ experience in the clinical laboratory or healthcare-related field.
Communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels.
Experience in a fast-paced environment managing large scope projects while navigating ambiguity to create clarity among business partners.
Experience in supporting assessments, designing, and implementing innovative strategies.
Demonstrated general knowledge of information technology and healthcare.
Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate interdisciplinary teams.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in business or healthcare-related discipline.
Background in healthcare services, especially delivery solutions in complex delivery environments, is advantageous but not required.
Additional related education and/or experience.
