Clinician - Bilingual Spanish - Clinic Based

Job Overview of Clinician – Bilingual Spanish- Clinic-Based Peekskill Location:

The Bilingual (Spanish) Clinic-Based Clinician provides direct clinical services (evaluations, assessments, treatment, individual, family and group therapy) as the primary clinician to assigned clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of comprehensive mental health services.  

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with a minimum of 3 late nights required (until 7:00pm/7:30pm) 

Essential Duties of Clinician- Bilingual Spanish-Clinic Based Peekskill Location:

Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develops and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records
• Provides a minimum of 25 billable hours per week of psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, family intervention as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities, including off-site visits
• Promotes integrated, person-centered care
• Generates and monitor proper communication with internal and external stakeholders (i.e., schools, protective services, etc.) and maintains records of communications
• Serves as after hours clinician on a rotating basis as scheduled
• Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations as they relate to clinical practice

Essential Qualifications of Clinician-Bilingual Spanish-Clinic Based Peekskill Location:

Key qualifications include:

• Licensed or license-eligible professional (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT)
• NYS- LMSW or LCSW preferred. 
• Bilingual Spanish-Speak, Read and Write 
• Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent and families
• Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet session productivity standards

Physical/Travel Requirements of Clinician-Bilingual Spanish-Clinic Based Peekskill Location:

• Must have ability to reach, walk, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and lift up to 20lbs
• Able to travel; Driver’s license required
