Full time Hospitalist/Nocturnist

Full-Time Nocturnist – 7 On / 7 Off – St. Joseph’s Hospital – Yonkers, NY

PPE is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nocturnist to join our established and collaborative Hospitalist team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused hospital just minutes from New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Admit adult patients from the Emergency Department overnight

• Provide overnight inpatient care and handle cross-coverage

• Respond to floor calls and manage clinical issues overnight

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, consultants, and care teams

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR (EPIC)

• Participate in patient hand-offs and care coordination

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (rotating weekly schedule)

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active (or eligible) New York medical license

• Prior hospitalist/nocturnist experience preferred but not required

• Strong interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills
