Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Overview:

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester County, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. 

We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Yonkers. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

The salary range for this full-time, hybrid position is $175,000 - $180,000.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan.
• Conduct 60-90 minute initial psychiatric evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that includes MDs, APRNs, RNs LPNs, PhDs, and LCSWs.
• Focus on quality care with the benefit of full nursing support - RN, LPNS handle prior authorizations, lab results, medical records, injectable medications, and refill requests.

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Valid NYS Nurse Practitioner License with specialization in Psychiatry.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Substance Use Disorders experience preferred.
