We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Program Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end flow of material across defense manufacturing lines. This role bridges strategic and tactical domains—coordinating with buyers, major subcontractors, production control, and procurement teams. This individual will prioritize high-impact tasks—such as order fulfillment, purchase request (PR) coordination, purchase order (PO) placement, material tracking, and sales planning—while maximizing cash profit and leading negotiations.

Essential Functions:
Â
Supply Chain Coordination & Prioritization
Lead collaboration across functions—order control, production control, PR/PO workflows—with buyers and subcontractors to ensure seamless material flow and execution.
Â
Material Tracking & Planning
Actively monitor material status from procurement through delivery, ensuring visibility, alignment with production plans, and facilitating timely decisions.
Â
Sales Forecasting & Profit Optimization
Engage in sales and strategic planning to align material availability with demand while optimizing cash profit and working capital.
Â
Negotiations & Procurement Influence
Lead or support supplier and subcontractor negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing, ensuring procurement strategies serve both strategic and tactical objectives.
Â
Cross-Functional Influence & Leadership
Drive consensus among disparate teams in complex scenarios; act as a trusted influencer capable of resolving conflicts and guiding outcomes across organizational boundaries.
Â
Business Unit Partnership
Work directly with the General Manager to develop sourcing strategies, identify supply risks, and elevate tactical procurement processes
Â
Qualifications:Â
 Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Experience in production control, supply chain, or materials management in the defense or aerospace sectors.

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
Â
Familiarity with DFARS, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and military contracting requirements.
Â
Experience with Integrated Master Plans (IMP/IMS), or military program management tools.
Â
Tools & Communication
Â
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking, reporting, and executive presentations.
Â
Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to distill complex information into clear, impactful messaging.
Â
Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence across functional boundaries, especially under time or resource constraints.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Production & Supply Chain Background (Desirable)
EVMS experienceÂ
Hands-on experience in production control, MRP/ERP systems, or subcontract management is advantageous
Lead development and execution of supply chain strategies across the full Program lifecycleÂ
Material/Subk CAM: accountable for program material/subcontract budgets and to drive actions to improve financial performance; lead material BOE development (proposals) and finalize material/Subk budget for program baseline
Â
Assist Program Finance in rolling up quarterly material/Subk financial status against the AOP, EAC and ETC
Â
Analyze key performance indicators using Program Supply Chain dashboard; develop and coordinate RTG execution
Â
Proposals: Responsible for coordinating all supply chain elements incl material/Subk BOE development
Â
Develop and Manage Supply Chain Risks & Opportunities as a part of program R&O
Â
Coordinate program supplier strategy development and alignment with Category Management to develop/maintain strategic supplier relationships
Â
Coordinate release of program demand through material planning
Â
Coordinate Subcontracts involvement with requirements development
Â
Prioritize and expedite material from PR creation through delivery to shopfloor
Â
Ensure timely completion of all material and subcontract program milestones

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California,Â
Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $98,500 -
$182,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, NewÂ
York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $86,000 - $159,500. This is not a guarantee ofÂ
compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited toÂ
