Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Document Control Specialist. We are seeking a positive team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a position with high visibility and great potential for advancement.Â
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Issue approved manufacturing procedures, specification, production drawings, and Bill of Materials to the production department as a result of the pre-production activities
- Ensure all documents remain legible and readily retrievable
- Retrieve and re-issue documents affected by revision changes
- File Electronic copies of documents on computer systems
- Verify warranty status and document details in ERP
- Respond to customer and supplier returns per procedures in Quality Manual
Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
- Excellent typing and ten-key skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently
- Experience with the following software is required:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Internet Explorer or other web browsers
- Experience with the following preferred, but not required (will train):
- Quality Documentation
- Database and/or ERP systems
- Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus.
- Candidates must have the ability to occasionally work overtime.
