As we expand our offerings, we're eager to welcome an Industrial Controls Assembler to our team. The Industrial Controls Assembler is responsible for wiring electrical panels and motor controls, supporting the electrical area in the Production Shop, and performing related tasks as needed. Location Requirements: Must live within a 50 mile radius of Westfalia Technologies Inc Headquarters and within PA or MD. Job Functions: Wire machine controls and motors according to schematics. Install devices, cables, and photo eyes per blueprint specifications. Lay out and wire control panels and junction boxes based on schematics. Perform control testing as required. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Provide in-house electrical maintenance when needed. Assist shop assembly personnel as necessary. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in electrical wiring and controls. Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints. Ability to accurately distinguish between color-coded wiring, cables, and electrical components is required to safely perform essential job functions. Competence in using power tools and electrical test equipment. Experience in electrical panel assembly and machine wiring. Ability to identify and assemble various electrical components. Willingness to work overtime when required. Authorized to work in the U.S. Positive attitude in a team environment. Adherence to safe working practices and company safety standards. Must own basic electrical tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers). Familiarity with identification software and labeling equipment. (Preferred) Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (Preferred) Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in electrical work. Experience diagnosing AC and DC power circuits with voltages up to 600 VAC. Experience in machine assembly, including the use of general shop hand tools. Physical Requirements: Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Capable of handling and assembling electrical components and using tools. Comfortable operating shop equipment and working at heights, including ladders. Adequate vision to read schematics, blueprints, and labels. Able to work safely around live electrical components and machinery. Travel Requirements: This position requires little to no travel (0-5%) outside of the standard commute.
