Job DetailsJob Location: Westfalia Technologies - York, PA 17406Westfalia is looking to host an Accounting Intern to join our team for our Summer 2026 Internship Program! The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in core accounting functions and exposure to financial processes within a professional and manufacturing environment. Location Requirements: Must live within a 50-mile radius of Westfalia Technologies Inc Headquarters and within PA or MD. Job Functions: Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and data entry. Prepare and enter journal entries into accounting systems. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Conduct research on financial data and assist in generating reports. Assist with audits and compliance-related activities. Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the finance team. QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Education/Experience: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and office equipment Visual acuity to read financial documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds Travel Requirements: • Minimal travel may be required outside of the daily commute (approximately 0- 5%) for meetings, training, or company events.
