Essential Job Functions: Manage all accounting functions including payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for all companies within YCC Maintain general ledger including analysis during the year Assist with closing process each accounting period and prepare the interim financial statements Assist with the presentation of the financial statements to management along with analysis of actual versus previous year and budget Calculate periodic sales commissions and process payment through payroll Maintain item cost file Assist HR in administration of employee benefits Approve all pricing from our paper suppliers Monitor payroll tax reports and payments Prepare annual budgets-working with various departments within the company Assist with annual audit preparation and the audit process including the many analysis required by the outside audit firm. Prepare monthly analysis of “key” costs and provide analysis Prepare cost analysis as necessary to evaluate potential savings Manage fixed assets and depreciation records Assist in evaluation of payroll, benefit, and accounting vendors Manage and cost major inventory levels   Other Functions: Be knowledgeable of all accounting positions and their duties Assist management in evaluating capital expenditures. In addition to the functions listed above, the employee is expected to: exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, maintain good attendance by working when and where directed, work safely in compliance with all safety policies, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible.  The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required and assigned from time to time. QualificationsQualifications:  Degree in accounting or finance. A minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations Knowledge of GAAP requirements and tax laws a plus Must be able to maintain confidentiality Must be able to multi-task Strong verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to manage others   Machines/Tools/Equipment: Computer, basic office equipment (copier, printer, calculator, fax, etc.)   Safety:  Employees are expected to follow all facility safety guidelines that include adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety as outlined during their training.
