Architectural Project Manager

Position Summary
The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all civil, architectural and design efforts for the company’s multifamily development and commercial construction projects. This role oversees design from early concept through construction documents, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans are coordinated, buildable, and aligned with project goals.

While the candidate for this position does not hold an architectural seal, the Design Manager plays a critical role in managing the full design process, coordinating civil and architectural efforts, and serving as the primary internal point of contact for design-related matters.

In addition, this role may assist with select third-party projects by performing initial architectural evaluations for renovations, repositioning, or feasibility studies as capacity allows.

  • Coordinate civil engineering efforts in conjunction with architectural design
  • Ensure alignment between site, civil, and building plans
  • Track design milestones, deliverables, and consultant timelines

  • Support preconstruction with design clarification and coordination during estimating
  • Assist construction teams with plan interpretation and design-related questions
  • Help manage design changes and revisions throughout construction
  • Participate in meetings related to design, permitting, and project planning

Third-Party & Special Projects (as capacity allows)

  • Perform initial architectural evaluations for renovation, repositioning, or feasibility studies
  • Review existing plans and conditions for third-party or internal assessment work
  • Provide high-level design input and recommendations
