Opening for Chief Anesthesiologist at state-of-the-art UPMC Pinnacle Hospital conveniently located in York, PA. The new UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital that opened in August 2019 is a 98-bed hospital with all private patient rooms. This modern facility features acute and emergency medical care, cardiology and vascular services, robotics and surgical services, and much more. With on-site space for future expansion, UPMC Memorial Hospital is continually evolving to better serve community health needs and is committed to being a sustainable choice for quality healthcare in the community. Total Rewards
Salary: $500K annually
Sign on Incentive: $30K

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: In-house call only if you reside more than 30 minutes from the hospital. Six calls per month. Post call day off.
• General, endo, ortho, L&D, and more

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
