Join a team where behavioral health skill meets compassion and purpose as a Crisis Intervention Counselor at the York Crisis Walk in Center. You will be providing immediate, in-person support for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises
Built on a trauma-informed approach, the program offers:
- Rapid assessment
- Stabilization
- Connection to ongoing care in a safe, welcoming environment
- Offers access to timely mental health services in our community

General Summary
Ability to work independently to meet the client's needs, assess a crisis situation and provide stabilization to the client at the client's location as needed, resolve the crisis and appropriately refer the client to necessary services following policy and procedures.
