The Director of Women's & Children's Services provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for a comprehensive service line that spans maternal, neonatal, and pediatric care. This leader is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, quality and safety standards, workforce engagement, regulatory compliance, and financial performance across multiple specialized units. This role serves as a key leader in advancing the organization's vision for excellence in women's, newborn, and pediatric healthcare while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and compassionate care.

Full-Time - 1.0 FTE/80 Hours Biweekly

Occasional weekends for rounding

General Summary

Provides clinical direction and management of activities related to the care management of assigned patient population, including clinical policy development and implementation, clinical data management and reporting, achieving clinical outcomes, improving cost effectiveness, and interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination in the management of patient care.

WellSpan York Hospital

Built on a solid 140-year legacy of providing high-quality, high-volume, community-based care, WellSpan York Hospital, the largest of WellSpan’s eight hospitals, is a 596-bed acute care community teaching hospital that employs nearly 5,000 people, making WellSpan the largest employer in York County. WellSpan York Hospital in embarking on a significant five-year project.  The centerpiece will be a new, eight-story surgical and critical care tower, which will dramatically expand the hospital’s intensive care unit as well as develop new state of-the-art surgical suites, making it one of the top 10 largest hospitals in Pennsylvania with approximately 600 beds.
