Start your nursing career with confidence through York Hospital’s Graduate Nurse Rotational Program. This unique program gives new nurses the chance to explore multiple medical‑surgical specialities before selecting their permanent unit—all while receiving exceptional support and mentorship.
Rotate through areas such as Cardiac Telemetry, Pulmonary Telemetry, Ortho/Trauma/Neuro Telemetry, IMCU, Surgical Telemetry, Oncology, Dialysis, Observation, and Medical Telemetry—gaining hands-on experience, building strong clinical skills, and discovering the speciality that's the perfect fit for your future!
During the rotational period, you will work both Day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) shifts, with most shifts scheduled on Days to support learning and exposure across units. After you select your permanent unit, the below shift schedule will typically apply.  Some participating units may also hire for Rotating Day/Night shifts, however, this option is not guaranteed and is dependent on unit staffing needs during your time of placement in the program.Â
