Job Summary

Schedules Work Centers in facility based on the capacity of the work center and available raw materials.

Job Duties

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product
  • Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics
  • May be responsible for working from blueprints to determine the specifications for the parts needed to produce the product
  • Use MRP systems to manage available capacity, expedites, and service objectives.
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Perform work under general supervision
  • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possess working knowledge of MRP
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
