Job Summary
The Plant Manager’s primary responsibilities are to oversee the day to day operations involving Safety, Production, Quality, budgets, and scheduling of maintenance projects. Will also maintain the extended planning for capital projects, maintain and keep up with weekly reporting, and work with EHS and Quality on issues that come up.
Responsibilities
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Daily monitoring and reporting of Plant Processes
- Analysis of operating data – develop, prioritize, and implement improvement solutions
- Daily interactions with Plant Operations and Maintenance Personnel
- Product and Customer Evaluations
- Root Cause Analysis (Cause Maps)
- Develop/Update Operator Standard Work
- Initiate and Implement Capital Projects

OE/Lean
- Manages, supports and achieves Operational Excellence/lean goals and initiatives, including but not limited to 5S, inventory reduction, process flow mapping, value stream mapping, standard work, Kaizens, Total Productive Maintenance, etc.
- Leads team in a continuous improvement work environment.Â
- Supports quality teams and management with OE initiatives and actively suggests opportunities for improvements.
Qualifications
Education:Â Â Â Â
- High School or Higher Education
- Preferred 4 year degree in Engineering

On a frequent basis, there may be exposure to plant areas, which include exposure to outside weather conditions as well as loud noise from equipment and dust from production processes.Â
