QC Lab Technician (Full-Time | Quality Control | Manufacturing)

We’re hiring a QC Lab Technician to support our Quality Control and production teams by testing materials, maintaining lab standards, and ensuring our products meet specifications. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform Quality Control testing on asphalt and aggregate materials
  • Collect, prepare, and evaluate material samples (up to 50 lbs)
  • Inspect truck beds and materials for quality and compliance 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient QC laboratory 
  • Mix and match product colors to customer specifications
  • Complete required Quality Control documentation 
  • Assist with additional lab or plant duties as needed 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Quality Control, lab, manufacturing, or construction materials experience preferred but not required 
  • Willingness to learn — training provided
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills 
  • Flexible to work extended hours during peak production seasons 

Work Environment

This role offers variety — no sitting at a desk all day

  • Combination of indoor lab and outdoor plant work
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust)
  • Safety-focused manufacturing environment
  • Occasional interaction with heavy equipment and machinery
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 
  • Able to shovel dense or wet material when necessary
