4 Main is a 23-bed medical telemetry unit serving young adults to geriatric patients with a variety of medical diagnoses which may require telemetry monitoring. Admitting diagnoses include, but are not limited to:  metabolic disorders, stable cardiovascular, renal, GI bleed, substance abuse withdrawal, diabetes, and respiratory conditions. 

Full-Time - 0.9 FTE/72 Hours Biweekly

Rotating Shift - 0700-1900/1900-0700
4 Nights Minimum in a 6 Week Schedule 

Every 3rd Weekend; 1 Major, 1 Minor and 1 Split Holiday

Eligible for Shift Differential 

General Summary

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
