A Senior Project Engineer has proven performance in the Structural Design of precast concrete structures. This role is responsible for leadership of a team of design engineers and Revit modelers/detailers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Structural engineering of pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums/arenas, parking garages, office buildings, warehouses, etc.
- Preparing and/or checking of engineering calculations, structural drawings and details
- Checking of drawings, coordination with clients (architects, other engineers, general contractors)
- Working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines
- Providing quality control/ quality assurance to ensure deliverables are high quality and on-time
- Assisting with all aspects of project management from project set-up through design and into construction administration
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, or Architectural Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- 10+ years of experience in the structural design of pre-cast concrete multi-level parking or other commercial structures.
- Technical skills must be at the level in which individuals can execute assignments independentlyÂ
- Must have strong working knowledge of Autocad. Working knowledge of Revit a plus.
- Must possess the communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective project team collaboration and relationship building.
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Willing and able to adapt as necessary to support changing business needs.
