About the Role:

The Sit-down Forklift Operator for the 1st and 3rd Shifts plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our durable goods manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to designated areas in a timely manner. The operator will collaborate closely with warehouse and production teams to maintain smooth workflow and support production schedules. Safety and adherence to company protocols are paramount, as the role involves handling heavy equipment and navigating busy warehouse environments. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the overall productivity and operational success of the manufacturing process during the 1st and 3rd shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift reliably and punctually.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as required and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in durable goods manufacturing or a similar industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
