Job DetailsJob Location: Westfalia Technologies - York, PA 17406Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Road WarriorWestfalia Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Site Superintendent to join our Project Operations team. The Site Superintendent is responsible for the overall condition of the job site and product installation, including duties outlined in the Site Procedures document. We are looking for someone with Experience in the Material Handling business (such as pallet conveyors, case conveyors, gravity flow conveyors, storage rack systems, PLC controls, Warehouse Management Software, and installations).   Location Requirements: Must live in one of the following states to be considered: AR, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MS, NC, NE, NH, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, UT, VA, VT, WI.   Job Functions: Manage job site activities by coordinating with Westfalia Technologies team members, subcontractors, and the customer’s team while reporting progress and punch list status to key stakeholders. Lead and coordinate installation planning and execution onsite. Oversee job site activities related to health and safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, Westfalia policies, customer requirements, and other applicable legal standards, including leading and documenting daily safety meetings. Review shipments for accuracy and quality and distribute materials accordingly. Maintain daily logs of employees and subcontractors on site and provide daily installation status reports and two-week look-ahead schedules. Lead field revisions and markups to installation drawings and documentation. Ensure compliance with Westfalia’s Quality Management System by verifying installation quality checks throughout the installation process. Identify and resolve installation issues and non-conformances. Approve each phase of equipment installation within Westfalia’s scope. Represent Westfalia professionally when interacting with customers and stakeholders onsite. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities: Ability to complete reports and follow established site procedures. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong professional communication skills when interacting with customers and coworkers. Safety-oriented mindset and commitment to safe work practices OSHA 30-Hour Certification (Desired) Knowledge in the use of transit is a plus (Desired) Commercial Construction Experience (Desired) Ability to understand and speak Spanish (is a Plus) Must be Fit for air travel and legal eligibility to rent and operate a rental vehicle through the company’s corporate account, in compliance with rental agency policies and insurance requirements.   Education and Experience: Required 3–5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or in on-site Project Management within commercial construction. Experience supervising teams or subcontractors. Experience tracking project budgets and planning installation activities. Preferred Associate degree or technical certificate. Experience in the material handling industry (e.g., pallet conveyors, case conveyors, gravity flow conveyors, storage rack systems, PLC controls, warehouse management software, or similar installations).   Physical Requirements: Ability to safely stand or walk for extended periods (8+ hours per day). Ability to climb in and around conveyors and rack systems to inspect or assist with installation work. Ability to sit for extended periods when completing reports or documentation. Visual acuity sufficient to read printed materials, drawings, and computer screens. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Must be physically able to travel and perform work on active construction sites.   Travel Requirements: Approximately 75%+ travel required.
