Warehouse Associate

Description

JOB SUMMARY

This position is for all warehouse activities that include pulling orders with an order picker, loading and unloading trucks, inventory control, packing orders for small parcel shipments, and all duties related to the shipping and receiving warehouse.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Responsible for properly filling out all paperwork
• Must follow inspection process to ensure quality product will get to the customer
• Load / unload trucks as needed
• Record parcel deliveries, then deliver to appropriate person or department
• Assist with receiving responsibilities as needed
• Supply raw materials to departments as needed (paper to presses, etc.)
• General housekeeping practices throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations
• Maintain physical condition of all equipment
• Assist other operators in a team environment
• Must follow all company policies and procedures
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/ GED
• Ability and experience operating a forklift
• Ability to speak, read and write English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, squat, bend, pivot/twist, climbing, kneeling, balance.
• Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. floor to waist FREQUENT, lift at least 70 lbs. knuckle to shoulder FREQUENT, lift at least 70 lbs. FREQUENT, carry at least 60 lbs. OCCASIONAL, and push and pull at least 82 lbs. of force OCCASIONAL.
• Must pass a physical demands test

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work activities occur in an inside workspace where extreme heat and may occur. May be exposed to outside while walking into trailers. Work conditions may include drafts. 

• Work overtime as needed, including weekends and Holidays.
