We are seeking an accomplished IT executive with deep specialization in insurance claims technology, who brings significant experience across US, London, and global insurance markets. As Head of Global Claims Technology, you will drive the end-to-end implementation, integration, and ongoing management of a next-generation enterprise Claims platform—including advanced First Notice of Loss (FNOL) capabilities. This strategic role requires proven leadership in delivering transformative Claims solutions at a global scale, with a robust understanding of the operational, regulatory, and market-specific nuances of complex, multinational insurance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and direction for the deployment of an enterprise-wide Claims system, with an acute focus on the unique regulatory, operational, and business needs of US, London, and international insurance markets.
  • Lead all phases of the Claims system lifecycle: requirements definition, global solution design, market-specific integration, testing, deployment, and sustained support—ensuring solutions address geographical differences in Claims handling.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing, cross-functional team—including internal IT talent and external vendor specialists—with a focus on best practices in insurance Claims technology.
  • Oversee seamless integrations between the Claims platform and related enterprise applications (e.g., policy administration, billing, document management, third-party providers) with consideration for varying standards across regions.
  • Act as the principal interface between IT, Claims Operations, business leadership, regional market stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and market-specific compliance.
  • Design and execute change management and communication strategies to secure successful system adoption across diverse claims operations and cultural landscapes.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for project success, operational performance, claims efficiency, and business value realization, tailored to US, London, and global insurance contexts.
  • Drive rigorous compliance with regional data privacy, cybersecurity, Lloyd’s, Solvency II, NAIC, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Identify risks particular to global claims technology deployments and implement robust mitigation plans to maintain scope, timeline, and budget discipline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with 5+ years in a senior/executive role overseeing large-scale, multinational insurance technology programs.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in insurance Claims operations, including FNOL and end-to-end Claims lifecycle management, with demonstrable track record within US, London, and global insurance (P&C, Specialty, Lloyd’s, Reinsurance).
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing and integrating leading enterprise Claims solutions (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek), optimizing for market-specific requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Strong background in insurance systems integration, large-scale data migration, and API management across multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence business and technical leaders in diverse geographic regions.
  • Proven experience managing large, distributed teams and multi-million dollar budgets, driving complex digital transformations with measurable business outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance regulatory and compliance frameworks governing claims operations in the US, London Market, and international jurisdictions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile, scaled Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies in regulated insurance environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based insurance platforms, digital automation, and advanced analytics to enable next-gen claims solutions globally.
  • Practical exposure to Lloyd’s market processes, global insurance and reinsurance operations, and cross-border insurance claims management is highly desirable.

Why Join Us?

  • Lead a highly visible, enterprise-level transformation impacting global insurance markets.
  • Collaborate with an innovative, diverse, and mission-driven leadership team.
