Inventory Control Coord – 1st Shift

Location: York, PA
Shift: 1st Shift | Full-Time

Pay: $24.12 - $28.49

RESPONSIBILITY

The Inventory Control Coordinator’s primary focus is to support production and shipping operations and align parts availability with the production schedule by coordinating inventory activities. The ICC will ensure accurate, timely physical staging and movement of materials and work closely with Shippers/Receivers to prioritize work based on the Priority Tracker. To maintain strong inventory integrity the ICC will be responsible to audit staged parts for accuracy and will take the lead in picking the parts in MAPICS, verifying transactions are correct.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Material Flow Coordination

· Coordinate with Shippers/Receivers to ensure parts are staged accurately and on time

· Direct which orders to pick based on the Priority Tracker

Inventory Oversight & Accuracy

· Ensure pick sheets clearly identify where parts were pulled from

· Pick the parts in Mapics according to the locations noted on the pick sheets

· Identify and document material shortages during the picking process

· Audit completed picks to ensure accuracy and compliance with inventory procedures

· Update the Priority Tracker to reflect completed picks

· Perform and document bin-to-bin transfers

· Monitor and resolve negative inventory balances

Inventory Environment & Safety

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory environment, minimizing component damage and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material coordination

· Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams

· Proficiency in ERP systems (AS400 preferred)

· Strong analytical skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

· Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24.12 - $28.49 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
