This is a WYH float pool comprised of registered nurses, nursing assistants, and patient safety aides with advanced competencies to care for patients in a variety of settings including acute care, intermediate care, critical care, and the emergency department. NRT team members, at the direction of the central staffing office, are deployed to patient care areas across the hospital as needed in collaboration with unit nursing staff members to provide expert clinical care.

Full-Time - 0.9 FTE/72 Hours Biweekly

Day Shift - 0700-1900
Night Shift - 1900-0700

Every 3rd Weekend; 1 Major, 1 Minor and 1 Split Holiday

Eligible for Shift Differential 

Float Pay

Sign-On Bonus Eligible

General Summary

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
