Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders/Fabricators for projects located in the York, PA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Fit, assemble, and prep parts according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect and perform quality checks on your own work to meet tolerance standards
• Clean and finish welds to ensure high-quality results
• Safely operate hand tools, grinders, and other shop equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances
• Experience fitting and prepping parts for welding
• Ability to perform your own quality control checks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Flux-core welding experience is a major plus
