Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders/Fabricators for projects located in the York, PA area. This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
- Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Fit, assemble, and prep parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Inspect and perform quality checks on your own work to meet tolerance standards
- Clean and finish welds to ensure high-quality results
- Safely operate hand tools, grinders, and other shop equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances
- Experience fitting and prepping parts for welding
- Ability to perform your own quality control checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flux-core welding experience is a major plus
