CTG is seeking to fill a Semiconductor Process Support Engineering Technician opening for our premier client.

 

Location: Yorktown Heights, NY

Duration: 10 months

Second Shift: 2:30-11:30 pm

 

Summary

Our client is seeking a second shift engineering technician in Yorktown, NY. The successful candidate will interact with and contribute to technical teams covering a wide spectrum of exciting and innovative research and quantum technology projects. This engineer will be a part of a technical team executing semiconductor-like processing to create parts that go into quantum computers. Electrical testing and functional tuning, in a clean room environment are important steps in this work. Excellent sample handling practices and dexterity are an absolute must because we often deal with small, delicate parts and our tooling is very manual and flexible (not typically automated). Applicants for this position must be highly motivated, excellent problem solvers, innovative and possess strong team skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.

 

Job Duties

  • Electrical testing and tuning on semiconductor wafers using prober tooling
  • Identify, communicate, and solve problems, organize projects and workflow
  • Accurately document and summarize data and process steps, as specified
  • Work closely with Engineers, Scientists, and Inventors from many different disciplines. Must be able to work independently as well as be a good team player
  • Use Microsoft Office

 

Skills Required

  • Electrical  Measurements ( this role is electrical measurement specific)
  • Use of Prober Tools
  • Work independently
  • Hands on processing experience in semiconductor-like processing steps
  • Must have good dexterity and be able to handle small sensitive parts
  • Must be capable of learning to operate new tools
  • Must be observant and based on technical knowledge, identify sources of variability and/or yield impact
  • Must be very flexible to learn new tasks as the workload is varied

 

The ideal candidate can seamlessly move between executive reporting, facilitating risk workshops, defining scoring models, and validating solution configurations.
