Paint I - Parts Hanger Power Washer

Description

Under the direction of the Paint Lead this position assists the painter with the daily assignments of the powder coating operation. This position differentiates from levels II and III in that the incumbent may be learning to powder coat, but does not do so regularly and/or independently. 

Requirements

This   list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:

Responsibilities required of level I:

· Reads work orders or receives instructions from supervisor or painter regarding parts to   be painted

· Steam cleans parts to be painted 

· Place parts on racks 

· Empty baskets and put away parts

· Chip hooks and racks as needed

· Keep floor free of water

· Inspect equipment for areas that were missed at grinding

· Assists in grinding department as needed

· Regular and reliable attendance

· Keep area clean and organized

· Follow safety procedures and instructions 

· Maintain productivity throughout shift

· Work quickly and accurately with minimal mistakes 

· Have all necessary tools required at your work station and in proper working condition

· Other jobs or projects as assigned

· Meet the daily production schedule as provided by supervision
