Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to participate in the technical aspects of radiation therapy treatments for patients as prescribed by physicians.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program and registered or eligible for registration by ARRT.
New graduates are required to take the registration boards within six months of hire and pass within one year.
The position prefers candidates with at least one year of previous experience in Radiation Therapy.
The work hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with no weekend or on-call requirements, and the salary is competitive based on experience.

Responsibilities

Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology

A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT

B. Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)

A. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date

AND

B. New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date.

Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

PREFERRED

One (1) year previous experience in Radiation Therapy.
