JOB SUMMARY:
Estate Yountville is hiring Seasonal Servers, Bartenders, and Barbacks to support our Food and Beverage operations during our busy season.
These roles are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, luxury environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver items promptly
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, and beverage offerings
- Prepare and process guest checks using the POS system
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal alcohol service
- Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain dining room standards
Bartender
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Engage guests and provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory levels
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Accurately handle cash and process transactions
Barback
- Assist bartenders by stocking glassware, garnishes, liquor, and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas
- Support bar setup and breakdown
- Remove empty glassware and assist with general operational needs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification (must meet state regulations).
- Valid Food Handlers Certification (must meet state regulations).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
- Ability to assess situations and make quick, accurate decisions.
- Capable of performing well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
