  • We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with solid experience in designing and developing electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and automation.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of control hardware design experience with a BS in Engineering or 6 years with an associate degree, or 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Key skills include proficiency in PLCs such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7, understanding of drives and VFDs, and solid panel design capabilities.
  • Experience with AutoCAD for developing wiring diagrams and electrical schematics, as well as familiarity with robotic applications and relevant standards like UL508A, NEC, and IEC is required.
  • Positions are available in Metro Detroit and Indianapolis, IN, with a competitive salary based on experience.
ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
We are looking for a Design Specialist / Engineer with Solid Experience in the design and development of electrical control systems for  ManufacturingEquipment and Automation
Experience developing equipment/automation controlled by PLCs (Hardware Skills are priority, Software Skills are secondary) -  PLCs such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7 or other PLC's will be accepted.
Understanding of Drives (Hardware and Configuration) and VFD's
Solid Panel Design,  Component Selection (Breakers, relays, terminals, power supplies, cables)
Experience developing Wiring Diagrams & Electrical Schematicusing AutoCAD
Understanding Robotic Applications (Fanuc or Other Robotic Systems)
Familiar with  UL508A, NEC and IEC standards experience
  
EDUCATION:
4+ years in control hardware design with BS in Engineering Degree or
6+ years in controls hardware design with 2 year electrical/mechanical/technition associates degree or
7+ years of Solid Controls Hardware Design Experience
