Job Description

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed patrol Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors, provide strong customer service, document observations, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at gates, doors and/or visitor check-in points, including verifying identification, issuing visitor passes and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Complete routine logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and follow post orders for escalation and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
