Genesis Oxygen & Sleep Therapy (GOST)Overview of Position:
To make timely, accurate deliveries of respiratory and medical supplies and equipment. Drive in a safe and courteous manner. Prioritize deliveries in accordance with time demands and delivery area to make the delivery process effective. Act as a liaison between the customer and Northside Oxygen and Medical Equipment. Responsible for routine checks on the maintenance of delivery vehicles.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
   1.   Organizes and delivers respiratory and medical equipment and supplies.
   2.   Obtains signatures for all deliveries made and completes necessary paperwork accurately and in accordance to N.O.M.E. policy.
   3.   Inspects vehicles daily and maintains vehicles in clean and proper working order.
   4.   Drives store vehicles safely and courteously and obeys all traffic laws.
   5.   Reports all accidents, vehicle damage, traffic violations or warnings and/or driver’s license suspension to supervisor.
   6.   Is knowledgeable of the delivery area of Zanesville and surrounding counties.
   7.   Is available on-call as scheduled and responds to any call-ins promptly.
   8. Provides education to patient/client base.
   9. Observes all federal, state and local accrediting agencies regulations.
 10. Participates in mandatory meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age.  Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.  Qualified candidate must be able to read well and be able to complete paperwork with accuracy.  Must have good knowledge of Zanesville and surrounding area and be able to read a map.  Requires the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.   Works in a warehouse environment.
2.   Must regularly lift or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
3.   Vision abilities require up-close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
5.   Individual bends, reaches and lifts products for repair and storage.
7.   Will be required to drive to other Northside locations and patient homes.
8.   May be required to periodically rotate shifts and regular days off.  All system employees must be willing to work all shifts, extra hours, holidays and emergency shifts as required.
9.   Requires on-call schedule.
