Management Level:

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. 

Job Description: 

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels. 

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. 

  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs 

  • The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas 

  • The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors 

  • The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas 

  •  The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment 

  • The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces 

 

Internal Requirements At Time Of Application: 

  • Team Members must be in current position for 90 days 

  • Team Members must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year
