Job Summary Description:

We are seeking a skilled, reliable laborer to join our growing company. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting, operating heavy machinery, and following all site health and safety regulations. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

• Performs manual labor tasks (lifting, carrying, dragging, or pulling material, etc.) to saturate felt liners with a poly resin
• Uses hand tools as needed to ensure even distribution of resin
• Operates Company equipment, ensuring it is maintained in a clean, safe, and mechanically sound condition to prolong equipment life
• Completes daily paperwork for the saturation process and ISO requirements, ensuring it is accurate and legible for traceability purposes
• Performs saturation process in a safe manner according to all safety practices to meet internal and external customer requirements
• Performs saturation process to quality standards established by the Company for consistency and meeting customer requirements
• Possesses a positive attitude and works well in a team environment, accepting delegated responsibility from the Wetout Process Manager to ensure work is completed efficiently and to customer expectations

Education: 

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Previous manufacturing experience a plus
• Understand, speak, and write fluently in English
• Capable of obtaining forklift certification
• Ability to work with resin and chemicals associated with the saturation process

Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk, stand, pull, drag, bend, squat and turn at the waist
• Ability to use proper lifting techniques to periodically lift a minimum of 50lbs and carry it for a minimum of 50 feet.
• Ability to work in elevated situations with ability to ascend and descend 10’ ladders and work on platforms
