About our property:

The award-winning, 480-acre Saddlebrook Resort has made a name for itself as a premier meeting and vacation destination, as well as one of the nation’s preeminent athletic training facilities. The Sports Shop Attendant is the primary guest-facing representative for the Racquet Sports department. This role delivers exceptional service to tennis and pickleball guests by assisting with court reservations, lesson scheduling, program information, and payment processing while maintaining an organized and professional Sports Shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist tennis and pickleball guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding programming, lesson locations, court assignments, and schedules
  • Book court reservations and schedule private/group lessons
  • Process charges, including room postings, member accounts, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Maintain Sports Shop cleanliness and organization
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Communicate schedule updates and guest needs to racquet sports staff
  • Resolve guest concerns or escalate to leadership when appropriate
  • Follow all Pyramid Global Hospitality and Saddlebrook Resort policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Resort, retail, or sports facility experience a plus
  • Basic computer proficiency; POS/reservation system experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move throughout racquet facilities
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
