The role you’ll contribute:

The Physician Relations Specialist is responsible for increasing revenue and volume for an assigned territory/facility and its targeted physician customers through new business development, service line sales, and communication.   A specific focus of this position will be meeting with targeted community and hospital employed physicians and their office staffs with the goal of growing Florida Hospital volume and market share.   The Physician Relations Specialist will be responsible for sales planning and day-to-day sales management of their assigned customer base.

  • Manages targeted physicians and practices to develop and retain referrals.

  • Identifies, initiates, and maintains contact with targeted referral sources.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with physicians in the assigned territory to present services and foster business relationships.

  • Makes face-to-face contacts and presentations to current referring physicians and potential prospects.

  • Conducts proactive fieldwork with targeted physicians and their office staff to identify needs and match them with organizational offerings

 



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferred

  • 2+ years of work experience – required
  • Driver’s License – required
